thomas erichsen was born on may 5th 1978 in munich. in school he got his fingers dirty in the photo lab, also did some super8 films. he studied english, japanese and philosophy and made internships, eg. with infoscreen or naumann film. he learned at arri film and tv to become film and video editor. since 2003 thomas works as freelance editor on avid. thomas erichsen is proud owner of a pc-based avid media composer.

thomas erichsen wurde am 5. mai 1978 in münchen geboren. in der schule arbeitete er im fotolabor und fabrizierte super8 filme. er studierte anglistik, japanologie und philosophie und machte praktika ua. bei infoscreen und naumann film. ab 99 wurde er bei arri film und tv zum film und videoeditor aus­gebildet. seit 2003 arbeitet thomas als avidcutter. thomas erichsen ist stolzer besitzer eines avid media composer.
